Parsnips

Not a huge favourite but useful to add variety to the diet and if you happen to have a rabbit or guinea pig that loves parsnips you might be wondering if they are a good food

Parsnips have a relatively low water content and an inverse Ca:P ratio with 36mg Calcium and 71 mg phosphorous per 100gm.  The vitamin C level though is 17mg per 100gm which is almost 3 times the level of vitamin C in carrots. With young carrots however, we see that the Ca:P ratio is better than in main crop carrots so feeding parsnip thinnings together with their tops would probably provide a healthy balance.
